Diehl Remscheid [DRS] is a subsidiary of the Diehl Group, which is organized in 4 operating divisions with a total workforce of around 12,000 employees and an annual turnover of 2.1 billion EURO. In the corporate divison of Diehl Defence is DRS part of the Business Area Vehicle Systems.

DRS is the leading manufacturer of different track types for tanks and armored vehicles, for the German Army and other NATO Armed Forces. More than 100 tracks have been developed and manufactured by DRS and are in use in more than 60 countries, worldwide.

As the leading track expert, DRS closely cooperates with all renowned vehicle manufacturers to contribute its broad know-how already in early design and development phases, thus setting standards for the vehicle systems of the future. DRS is capable of developing and producing a new track within a very short period of time (approx. 6 months).

The modern steel foundry at Remscheid Lüttringhausen produces components between 2 kg and 120 kg per piece. The wall thickness can be produced between 4 mm and 40 mm.

In order to optimally support Greek tank projects, like Leopard 1 / 2 and Panzerhaubitze 2000, DHE was founded in 2000. Our subsidiary is able to support its customers with all Diehl tracks, track components and protection solutions by co-production of the Diehl tracks under licence in Greece.

In order to optimally support Spanish tank projects like Leopard 2 and Pizarro, DIS was founded in 2003. Our subsidiary is able to support its customers with all Diehl tracks, track components and protection solutions by co-production of the Diehl tracks under licence in Spain.
